2013 Winter Membership Minutes

Feb. 24^th, 2013

Commander Jim Gay called meeting to order at 0900 hours.

Invocation was given by Jerah Martindale (Fremont).

Pledge of Allegiance was led by Brian Lenz (Fremont).

  

Roll call

Roll call of Counties showed 6 units being represented.

 

Past State Commanders present: Brett Mackert, Rick Pruett

  

Hosting unit remarks –Brett thanked everyone for coming.  Jim thanked Fremont for the great meeting & training.

 

 

OFFICERS REPORTS:

Commander Jim Gay – attended the sheriff’s association

1^st Vice, Rick Miller -

2nd Vice, Mitch Henson – has scanned the scrapbook into a digital form

Quartermaster/Treasurer, Steve Clinkscales- brought some brochures of some engraved knives, as a future quartermaster item, which were offered to members for a discounted price

Communications, Burt Bates – obtained new communications license, good thru Oct 2014

Secretary, Dawn Lenz – excused

 

Membership dues were discussed again, for the third and final meeting. Motioned, seconded, passed.

 

Meeting attendance was limited due to inclement weather, and meeting was shortened due to a search being called out.

 

Future Meetings:

2013 ISSAR Summer Convention June 21 weekend -Hosted by Boundary County.
